Multiple Option Reading Experience (M.O.R.E.)
The Multiple Option Reading Experience (M.O.R.E.) is the brainchild of author M.L. Hamilton and narrator Kelley Hazen, combining reading print books with audiobooks. Struggling or beginning readers often lose out on the fun of reading because decoding words and sounding out unfamiliar vocabulary reduces their fluency and reading comprehension.
Educators have long known that using multiple modalities to reach their learners is best. Delivering lessons with visual, audio, and kinesthetic options offers learners a full range of ways to access content material. Not only that, but a child's first experience with language and learning words comes through listening to their parents and caregivers talk to them. It only makes sense that combining audiobooks with print books would help with learning to read. By putting sound to visual letters, students learn to enjoy reading, develop fluency, and increase their vocabulary.
Phoenix Publication Services is proud to announce the first book in their M.O.R.E. library: The Case of the Buried Treasure.
Parents and guardians can buy the print book and also purchase the audiobook at the same time for a discount.
